How to Open a .dav File

How to Install and Use Smart Player
- DownloadClick the button above. The installer is approximately 45MB and requires no account.
- InstallRun the installer, accept the license agreement, and follow the setup wizard. No third-party software is bundled.
- Export footage from your DVR/NVROn your 2M Technology recorder, go to Playback → Export → USB. Select the channel and time range.
- Open the fileLaunch Smart Player and click File → Open, or drag the .dav file directly onto the player window.
- Review footageUse the timeline to scrub through. Play, Pause, Fast Forward (2x/4x/8x), and Frame Step as needed.
- Export clips or snapshotsClick the snapshot icon for a JPEG frame, or use File → Clip Export to save a time-range segment.
