Face recognition terminals provide contactless biometric authentication for door access control, time attendance tracking, and workforce management at commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. Unlike PIN pads or card readers, these biometric readers verify identity without physical contact — reducing shared credential risk and eliminating card loss or forgotten PINs.
Each terminal captures a live image at the entry point and compares facial geometry against enrolled templates stored in the device or a central server. Modern devices support 1:1 verification (confirm a claimed identity) and 1:N identification (identify an unknown person from a database) at throughput rates of 15-30 persons per minute. False acceptance rates (FAR) below 0.0001% on top-tier units ensure unauthorized access attempts are reliably blocked.
All units in this catalog support Wiegand and OSDP output for integration with third-party access control panels (Lenel, Software House, Honeywell, Brivo, Openpath). TCP/IP connectivity enables central enrollment management, real-time event logging, and remote configuration. Anti-spoofing (liveness detection) prevents photo or video replay attacks.
2M Technology supplies and installs face recognition terminals across Dallas-Fort Worth and nationwide. We integrate biometric readers into complete access control systems including door hardware, panels, and software.
