Turn On/Off Temperature Authentication

You are here:

Temperature Authentication can be turned on or off which means that even with a high temperature, the user can have the terminal still open the door for a person. In order to find this setting → Intelligent → Advanced Setting/Intelligent Rules → Temperature Measurement → Authentication Failed and Open the Door/Don’t Lock Door

  • On: will open the door even if a person reads a high temperature
  • Off: will not open the door if a person reads a high temperature

There is also the option to turn off temperature verification completely. You can do this by unchecking Temperature Measurement, but if this configuration is done, the terminal will not read temperature at all. It will only be used for identification and/or card access control.
