Explosion proof hanging lights — also called explosion proof pendant lights or suspension lights — provide downward task and area illumination in hazardous locations where surface or high-bay mounting is not practical. Common in refinery pipe racks, chemical plant aisles, and offshore module interiors, these pendant-mount fixtures bring light closer to work surfaces while maintaining safe clearance from equipment.
Available in output ranges from 1,000 to 20,000 lumens, with pendant lengths from 0.5m to 3m (custom lengths available), IP66 and IP67 ingress protection, and T4–T6 temperature class ratings. Housing materials include 316L stainless steel, GRP, and die-cast aluminum. All units carry ATEX and IECEx certifications for Zone 1/Zone 2 and Class I Division 1/Division 2 locations.
