The 2MEXL-LR4 4-Foot Explosion-Proof LED Linear Light is built to withstand extreme industrial conditions where explosive gases, vapors, or dust may be present. Constructed from corrosion-resistant SUS304 stainless steel (or optional SUS316 for marine-grade protection), this fixture is ideal for offshore platforms, refineries, chemical plants, and hazardous warehouses.
Certified with IP66, IK10, and 3G vibration protection, the fixture also passes 1200 hours of salt spray testing, ensuring long-term performance in harsh and corrosive environments. It supports continuous operation in ambient temperatures from -40°C to +60°C (T6/T80°C).
Exceptional Luminous Efficacy and Light Output
Offered in 30W, 40W, 50W, and 60W versions, the light delivers outputs from 3900 to 7800 lumens at an impressive efficacy of 130 lumens per watt. With a wide 120° beam angle, it provides even illumination across large workspaces, catwalks, and tunnels.
The fixture is rated for a 50,000-hour lifespan, backed by IES LM-80 and TM-21 standards—minimizing maintenance cycles and downtime in critical operations.
Customizable Color Temperatures and Dimming Control
This fixture supports a wide range of Correlated Color Temperatures (CCTs):
- CID2 Applications: 2700K, 4000K, 5000K
- Zone 2 Applications: 2700K to 6500K (including 3000K, 3500K, 6000K)
With a CRI >80, it ensures accurate color representation—vital for visual inspections and quality control. An optional 0–10V dimming feature allows precise control of light levels (requires a separate 0–10V DC dimming circuit).
Flexible Mounting and Wiring Options
This 4-foot linear light can be mounted via ceiling, rope, or pole installations, with stainless steel latches and silicone gaskets for secure, sealed operation. It supports:
- Dead-end, through-feed, or “T” wiring
- 4x M20 cable entries (1 cable gland, 3 stopping plugs)
- Max interconnection wattage of 150W, ideal for multi-light installations
