The 2MEXN04 Explosion-Proof Stainless Steel Enclosure is designed to protect a Network Video Recorder (NVR), ensuring safe and reliable operation in hazardous locations where flammable gases, vapors, or combustible dusts are present. Certified to IECEx, ATEX, CU-TR, and UL standards, this terminal box/enclosure ensures compliance with international safety regulations across global markets.
Engineered with robust Stainless Steel construction, it offers superior corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, making it suitable for heavy-duty industrial applications. The enclosure achieves an IP66/IP67 degree of protection, safeguarding internal components from dust, high-pressure water, and temporary submersion.
With a rated voltage up to 1000V AC / 1500V DC and a maximum rated current of 1000A, this terminal box supports a wide range of industrial power and signal applications. It accommodates various conductor cross-sections from 2.5 mm² (24A) up to 3 x 300 mm² (1000A), ensuring flexibility in system design. For intrinsically safe circuits (Ex ia), it supports lower current ratings up to 5A for select sizes.
The terminal box is equipped with internal and external earthing points (M6/M6) for safe grounding. Operating temperatures range from -40°C to +60°C, with optional extended ranges down to -55°C or -60°C, suitable for extreme environments.
