This explosion-proof housing is specifically designed to protect speed dome (PTZ) cameras operating in Class I, Division 1 and Zone 1 & 2 hazardous locations, where the presence of flammable gases or vapors presents a serious risk. Built to meet strict ATEX standards, it ensures reliable and safe camera operation in critical environments such as oil and gas refineries, offshore rigs, petrochemical plants, and industrial processing facilities.
Constructed from corrosion-resistant AISI 304 stainless steel, with an optional 316L stainless steel upgrade for more demanding environments, this heavy-duty housing is built to withstand harsh conditions. It carries the Ex d IIC T6 Gb explosion-proof marking, verifying its suitability for high-risk, explosive atmospheres.
The enclosure is fully sealed and rated IP68 and NEMA-6P, offering complete protection against dust ingress and water immersion. With an operating temperature range of -45°C to 60°C (-49°F to 140°F), it performs reliably in extreme environments—from freezing cold to intense heat.
A wall mount bracket is included for simple and secure installation, making it easy to deploy PTZ surveillance in dangerous or remote locations.
