The 2MEXH-4518 explosion-proof bullet camera housing is purpose-built to deliver reliable video surveillance in Class I, Division 1 and Zone 1 hazardous environments, where explosive gases or vapors may be present. Designed for durability, performance, and safety, it’s ideal for use in oil refineries, chemical plants, marine facilities, and other high-risk industrial sites.
Made from high-quality 304 stainless steel, with an optional upgrade to 316L stainless steel for enhanced corrosion resistance in harsh or coastal environments, this housing offers exceptional protection against extreme conditions. It is certified with the Ex d IIC T6 Gb explosion-proof marking and rated IP68 / NEMA-6P, ensuring it is dust-tight and resistant to water ingress, including immersion.
The housing supports built-in or external IR illuminators (optional), providing clear night vision capability with an illumination range of up to 100 meters (328 feet). A sunshield and automatic wiper (optional) are also available to ensure optimal image clarity in all weather conditions. A wall-mount bracket is included for straightforward installation.
