Designed for surveillance in Class I, Division 1 and Zone 1 hazardous environments, this explosion-proof bullet camera housing provides robust protection for fixed-lens cameras operating in areas where flammable gases or vapors are present. Built to withstand extreme conditions, it’s ideal for use in oil and gas facilities, chemical plants, offshore platforms, and industrial refineries.
The housing is constructed from heavy-duty AISI 304 stainless steel, with an optional 316L stainless steel upgrade for increased corrosion resistance in harsh or coastal environments. Certified with Ex d IIC T6 Gb explosion-proof marking, it meets global standards for safe operation in explosive atmospheres.
Rated IP68 and NEMA-6P, this housing is completely sealed against dust and resistant to powerful water jets and prolonged submersion. It operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 60°C (-40°F to 140°F), making it suitable for use in both extremely cold and hot climates.
For added functionality and protection, optional sunshield and automatic wiper accessories are available, helping to maintain clear image quality in challenging weather conditions.
